Prelude: Thanks Be to Thee George Frideric Handel

Call to Worship

Invocation

Hymn 14: New Songs of Celebration Render Rondez A Dieu

Prayer of Confession

Eternal God, in whom we live and move and have our being; whose face is hidden from us by our sins; and whose mercy we forget in the blindness of our hearts; cleanse us, we beseech you, from all our offenses; and deliver us from proud thoughts and vain desires; that with lowliness and meekness we may draw near to you; confessing our sins, confiding in your grace, and finding in you our refuge and our strength; through Jesus Christ your Son. Amen.

The Gospel’s Assurance of Pardon: Hebrews 9:11–12

But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.

Doxology 732 Tallis' Canon

Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heav’nly host; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
