Prelude: Let All Together Praise Our God Johann Sebastian Bach
Call to Worship
Doxology Old Hundredth
Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heav’nly host; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
Prayer of Confession
Almighty and most merciful God, we acknowledge and confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed; that we have not loved you with all our heart and soul, with all our mind and strength, and that we have not loved our neighbor as ourselves. We beseech you, O God, to forgive what we have been, to help us to amend what we are, and of your mercy to direct what we shall be, so that we may hereafter walk in the way of your commandments, and do those things which are pleasing in your sight, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Gospel’s Assurance of Pardon: Acts 10:43
To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
Invocation
Hymn: Praise to the Holiest in the Height Richmond

Responsive Reading: Psalm 18:31–50 (pew Bible p. 455)
Gloria Patri Meineke
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.
Apostles' Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
Prayer of Intercession (concluding with The Lord’s Prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Sacrament of Baptism (11am)

At the direction of the minister, please join in singing "Jesus Loves Me."
Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to him belong, they are weak but he is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.

Dear Christians, One and All Rejoice (11am) arr. Luke Carlson
Tenth Church Choir
Dear Christians, one and all rejoice, with exultation springing, and with united heart and voice and holy rapture singing, proclaim the wonders God hath done, how his right arm the vict’ry won; right dearly it hath cost him. God saw, in his eternal grace, my sorrow out of measure; He thought upon his tenderness to save was his good pleasure. He turn’d to me a Father’s heart—not small the cost to heal my smart He gave his best and dearest. He spake to his beloved Son: ‘tis time to take compassion; then go, bright jewel of my crown, and bring to man salvation; from sin and sorrow set him free, slay bitter death for him, that he may live with thee forever. Dear Christians, one and all rejoice, with exultation springing, and with united heart and voice and holy rapture singing.
