Prelude: To God Be the Glory arr. Frederick Swann
Call to Worship
Doxology Old Hundredth
Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heav’nly host; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
Prayer of Confession
Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We
have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have left undone those
things which we ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have
done; and there is no health in us. But you, O Lord, have mercy upon us. And grant, O most merciful
Father, for Jesus' sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and joyful life, to the glory of
your holy name. Amen.
The Gospel’s Assurance of Pardon: Ephesians 2:4–5
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
Invocation
Hymn 97: We Praise You, O God, Our Redeemer, Creator Kremser
Responsive Reading: Psalm 6 (pew Bible p. 449)
Gloria Patri Meineke
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.
Apostles' Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen
Prayer of Intercession (concluding with The Lord’s Prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Let us give thanks unto our Lord God.
It is right to give Him thanks and praise.
It is right and good and a joyful thing, always and everywhere to give thanks unto You, O Lord, Holy Father, Almighty, Everlasting God. Therefore, with angels and archangels, and with all the company of heaven, we laud and magnify Your glorious Name; evermore praising You, and saying:
“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest.”
