Prayer of Confession

Almighty, everlasting God and Father, we acknowledge and confess that we indeed were conceived and born in sin and, therefore, inclined to all evil and slow to all good; that we unceasingly transgress your holy commandments, and corrupt ourselves. But we are sorry for this and desire your grace and help. Therefore, have mercy upon us, most gracious and merciful God and Father, through your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Grant to us and increase in us your Holy Spirit, so that we may recognize our sin and unrighteousness from the depth of our heart, feel true contrition and grief for them, die to them completely, and please you wholly in a new, godly life. Amen.

Rev. Zachary Groff is a native of the Philadelphia area and holds degrees from Temple University (BA) and Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (MDiv). He is Pastor and Moderator of Session at Antioch Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Woodruff, South Carolina. In addition to writing and editorial labors with the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, P&R Publishing, The Confessional Presbyterian journal, and the Presbyterian Polity website, he is an active churchman in Calvary Presbytery (PCA), serving as well on the leadership team of the Carolinas PCA Church-Planting Network, and with the PCA’s Mission to North America through its Permanent Committee. He has been married to Jocelyn for 15 years, and they have six children.

Called Congregational Meeting

A special meeting of the Congregation of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia is called for Sunday, June 15, 2025 for the purpose of electing two deacons, Calvin Coffeen and Eric Schwenk. The meeting will be held in the Sanctuary immediately after the 11am worship service.
