Prelude: Consecration Song (Trinity Hymnal 585) arr. Mark Hayes
Teresa Anstatt, soprano

God who made the blackbird sing 'neath the willow tree, surely you are crowned the King and Lord of everything. Take my heart, take my all, I give myself to thee; take me for thine own, dear Lord, for all eternity.

Call to Worship

Doxology Old Hundredth

Praise God from whom all blessings flow; praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heav’nly host; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.

Prayer of Confession

Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, maker of all things, judge of all men; we acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness, which we have from time to time committed by thought, word, and deed against your divine majesty, provoking most justly your wrath and indignation against us. We do earnestly repent and are heartily sorry for our misdoings; they are grievous unto us. Have mercy upon us, most merciful Father, for your Son our Lord Jesus Christ’s sake; forgive us all that is past, and grant that hereafter we may serve and please you in newness of life, to the honor and glory of your holy name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Gospel’s Assurance of Pardon: Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Invocation

Hymn 76: Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven Lauda Anima

Responsive Reading: Psalm 119:49–64 (pew Bible p. 513)

Gloria Patri Meineke

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.

Apostles' Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the
communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Prayer of Intercession (concluding with The Lord’s Prayer)

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Offertory: Bright and Beautiful Mark Hayes
Teresa Anstatt, soprano

Praise Him, praise Him, all ye little children, God is love. Love Him, love Him, all ye little children, God is love. All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, our dear God made them all. Each little flower that opens, each little bird that sings; God made their glowing colors, and made their tiny wings. The cold wind in the winter, the pleasant summer sun, the ripe fruits in the garden: God made them, ev'ry one. Jesus loves me! This I know, for the Bible tells me so; little ones to Him belong, they are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so. God loves us, one and all!
